Iranian Oil Minister Muhsin Paknejad stated that oil exports continue uninterrupted despite the US decision to end the 60-day sanctions exemption.
According to the statement made on the Iranian government's website, Paknejad gave information about the export of Iranian oil.
Stating that Iran has established mechanisms for oil exports for years to neutralize US sanctions, Paknejad said that although a 60-day oil export exemption was granted in the memorandum of understanding reached between Tehran and Washington, they did not break the old mechanisms.
Stating that they continue to use these mechanisms, Paknejad stated that the USA did not comply with its commitment and violated Article 10 of the memorandum of understanding by ending the oil export exemption.
Paknejad said, "Since the structures envisaged for the continuation of oil exports are preserved, the country's oil export process continues as before, and thankfully, we do not experience any problems in this regard." he said.
