AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss concerns over E20 petrol. Kejriwal stated that consumers should be given the freedom to choose between pure gasoline or E20 gasoline at fuel stations. He also requested that the price of ethanol blended E20 gasoline be reduced, arguing that it showed lower mileage.
Kejriwal announced that after his interactions with the public, he decided to write to the Prime Minister and his party started an online petition in this regard. He said that the responses to the petition, in which citizens were invited to share their experiences, would be submitted to the Prime Minister. Kejriwal also asked his party workers to meet consumers at gas stations and share on social media.
