Foundation digging activities have started for the Imam Rıza Cemevi and Cultural Center, which is planned to be built in Kepez district of Antalya.

According to the statement made by Kepez Municipality, the foundation excavation activities for the Alevi Bektashi Culture and Cemevi Center and Social Facility, which will be built in the municipality's area in Fevzi Çakmak District, are being carried out by the teams of the Directorate of Technical Affairs.

The foundation of the center will be laid following the excavation activities, which are planned to be completed in about a week.

The facility, which will be built as a ground floor plus two floors, will include a conference hall, a faith and culture museum, a presidential office, a library containing works and research resources related to the Alevi Bektashi culture, classrooms, a soup kitchen, a cem square, guest rooms, a morgue, cultural activity areas and a kitchen.

Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz stated that when its construction is completed, the center will be one of the important centers of cultural and social activities, as well as responding to the religious needs of the Alevi Bektashi community.
