The forest fire, which broke out in Gökmenler District of Adana's Saimbeyli district, was taken under control and extinguished in a short time with the rapid intervention of the teams from air and land.
According to the information obtained, flames broke out in the forest area in Gökmenler District for an unknown reason. Upon notice, Adana Regional Directorate of Forestry and Saimbeyli Forestry Management Directorate teams were dispatched to the region.
The fire was intervened by air and land with 2 flame extinguishing helicopters, 5 water trucks and approximately 45 personnel. As a result of the intense activity of the teams, the flames were taken under control and extinguished in a short time.
