Syrian President Ahmed Shara discussed ways to strengthen commercial exchange between the two countries with Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Amir al-Busat.
According to the news in the Syrian official news agency SANA, President Shara received Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Busat at the People's Palace in the capital Damascus.
At the meeting, where Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammed Nidal al-Shaar was also present, opportunities to increase commercial exchange and strengthen cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
The report stated that "ways of strengthening the economic and commercial cooperation between Syria and Lebanon and the development of joint coordination mechanisms to serve the interests of the two brother countries and people" were evaluated at the meeting.
