In BURSA, police officer father Bülent Gülşen (53), who had a liver transplant with the donation of petty officer Emre Gülşen, lost his life.
Bülent Gülşen, a police officer with 26 years of experience at the Gaziantep Police Department, was treated at a private hospital in Bursa due to liver disease. Gülşen, a father of three children, had a liver transplant surgery on July 9, with his son petty officer Emre Gülşen becoming a donor. Gülşen, who suddenly fell ill on July 11 after the surgery, could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors.
Bülent Gülşen's body was brought to Gaziantep by plane. Gülşen's funeral at Sıdıka Tayyar Hatun Mosque in İslahiye district; İslahiye District Governor Emre Oğuztürk, District Police Chief Mehmet Taşkır, colleagues, NGO representatives, relatives and many people attended. Bülent Gülşen was buried in the family cemetery in İslahiye Hanağzı District after the funeral prayer.
