"The Name of Victory is Türkiye, 15 July National Will Call Poster Exhibition" prepared by Kütahya Dumlupınar University (DPÜ) Faculty of Fine Arts Visual Communication Design Department was opened.
DPU staff and many students attended the opening of the exhibition prepared within the scope of Democracy and National Unity Day events. In the exhibition, a total of 33 works prepared using visual communication and poster design techniques were presented to art lovers.
While the exhibition highlights the power of art to keep social memory alive, make common values visible and transfer them to future generations, it aims to express the consciousness of democracy, national will and the spirit of social solidarity through visual communication design.
In the exhibition, which also includes the works of academicians and professional graphic designers invited from different universities and design circles of Türkiye, activities reflecting the original design understandings of the participants attract attention. While concepts such as democracy, independence, national unity, common memory and social solidarity are discussed in an aesthetic and conceptual integrity in the posters, the effect of visual communication design in creating social awareness is also revealed.
