The old man, who fell and got stuck on the rocks while trying to go down from the forest to the coastline in Heybeliada, Adalar district of Istanbul, was rescued by the successful operation of the Coast Guard teams.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on July 13 at around 22:00 in the Heybeliada German Bay area. H.S.O., who wanted to go down from the forest area to the seashore. (69) was injured by falling in a steep and rocky area. As darkness fell, Islands Coast Guard teams came to the rescue of the old man who was stranded on the rocks near the sea. The teams took immediate action upon receiving the notice and arrived at the scene in a short time. The Islands Coast Guard teams intervened from the sea in the area where access by land was extremely difficult, and located the injured person with the help of flashlights and projectors. Since it was dangerous to approach the shallow and rocky area with the mother ship, the teams reached the rocks by inflatable rubber boat. As a result of the meticulous work of the teams, H.S.O. was taken from the place where he was stranded and was safely transferred to the Coast Guard ship. First aid was given by the Coast Guard personnel on the ship, and it was determined that the injured citizen was conscious and not in a life-threatening situation.
