Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç met with the contractor and consultant company officials at the construction site within the scope of the Kartal Storey Interchange Project, which was implemented under the coordination of World Bank financing and İller Bankası AŞ.
According to the written statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality, the meeting held at the construction site was attended by Mayor Büyükkılıç, Metropolitan Municipality General Secretary Hüseyin Beyhan, Deputy General Secretaries Ufuk Sekmen and Fatih Temeltaş, Technical Affairs Department Head Sedat Erdoğan and contractor and consultant company officials.
At the meeting, the latest status of the ongoing activities at Kartal Junction was discussed comprehensively.
While the current phase of the project, work program, inter-institutional coordination and the next process were evaluated, mutual ideas about the investment were exchanged.
Making a statement after the meeting, Büyükkılıç noted that the activities will continue on their course unless there is a force majeure and that they will open the intersection to provide traffic services to citizens at the end of the year.
