Relatives of those who lost their lives in the Grand Kartal Hotel fire in KARTALKAYA reached Ankara on the march they started from Bolu.

In the 'Justice for 78 Lives March' initiated by those who lost their relatives in the Grand Kartal Hotel fire, families reached Ankara's Kahmramankazan district. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir supported the families who continued the march on the 6th day. Emir said that the march was not only a march for justice but also a march for humanity and said, "When you look at how the Kartalkaya fire happened, how it could not have been prevented, the chain of negligence, the callousness of the officials that could lead to deliberate murder, and the subsequent pursuit of all kinds of unlawful acts by the ministry to acquit itself, we can easily say that this was actually a heartbreaking murder. Therefore, this legal struggle is also a struggle for humanity and the litmus test of Türkiye."

The families taking part in the march are expected to make a press statement in front of the Victory Monument in Ulus on July 18.
