Driver Ali Akbaba (21), who was seriously injured in the accident where an out-of-control motorcycle crashed into a pole in Sarıgöl district of MANİSA, died in the hospital where he was taken.
The accident occurred around 17.30 in front of the Sarıgöl Cemetery in Cumhuriyet District. Ali Akbaba lost control of the steering wheel while driving his motorcycle, whose license plate was not known. The motorcycle went out of control and crashed into a lighting pole on the side of the road. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the address. Akbaba, who was thrown onto the road and seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Sarıgöl State Hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams. Despite all the doctors' intervention, Akbaba lost his life. The body of Akbaba, who was learned to have just returned from the military, was taken to the morgue of the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy.
Police launched an investigation into the accident.
