Three Russian tourists, who lost their way during a nature walk on Amlakit Plateau in Çamlıhemşin district of RIZE, were rescued in 10 hours by the teams dispatched to the region. Those moments were reflected on the teams' cameras.
The incident took place in Amlakit Plateau in Çamlıhemşin district. 3 Russian tourists who went hiking lost their way back due to heavy fog. Tourists who could not move due to adverse weather conditions called for help. Upon notice, AFAD, JAK and professional mountaineers were dispatched to the region. As a result of the search activities carried out meticulously under difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions, the teams contacted the tourists in the morning. After a difficult walk that lasted about 10 hours, the tourists were reached around 14:00. Tourists, who have undergone health checks in the region and are determined to be in good condition, are safely taken to the residential area under the control of the teams.
