In Şuhut district of Afyonkarahisar, field activities continue uninterruptedly in order to support the sustainability of forage crop production, to follow up-to-date agricultural production data and to carry out support practices in a healthy manner.
On-site inspections are carried out in the areas where forage crops are planted throughout the district by technical personnel of Şuhut District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. While the current status of the production areas is evaluated during the inspections, the planting information is compared with official records and the necessary determinations regarding the production process are made meticulously.
Technical teams hold one-on-one meetings with producers within the scope of field visits, provide information about forage crop production and support practices, and listen to producers' demands and suggestions. The field data obtained is evaluated together with the relevant records and contributes to production planning.
Şuhut District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate officials stated that field activities throughout the district will be continued in a planned and regular manner in order to effectively monitor agricultural production, carry out support processes accurately and transparently, and strengthen production planning.
