In ADANA, Sezai Yıldırım (30), who was allegedly under the influence of drugs, was stabbed to death by Suat Kömürcü (26), whom he had an argument with on the street. Suspect Kömürcü was taken into custody and sent to prison by the court.
The incident took place on July 12 in Cumhuriyet District of Yüreğir district. An argument broke out for an unknown reason between Sezai Yıldırım, who was allegedly under the influence of drugs, and Suat Kömürcü, whom he encountered on the street. As the argument escalated, Suat Kömürcü stabbed Yıldırım in various parts of his body. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of the surrounding people who saw Yıldırım, who collapsed in blood. Sezai Yıldırım died in the hospital where he was taken by ambulance after the first intervention of the paramedics. Yıldırım's lifeless body was buried after the autopsy.
Provincial Police Department Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau teams started an operation regarding the incident and detained the suspect Suat Kömürcü in the area close to the scene. After his procedures at the police station, Suat Kömürcü was sent to prison by the court to which he was referred.
