A commemoration program was held in front of the Miner's Monument in Zonguldak on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
The protocol delegation gathered on İstasyon Street on the occasion of Democracy and National Unity Day in Zonguldak and walked in front of the Miner's Monument accompanied by the Mehter March. When the participants reached the Miner's Monument, a moment of silence was observed and then the National Anthem was sung. The recitation of the Holy Quran was read in the program.
The Turkish Flag brought for the Democracy and National Unity Day was delivered to Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu. Hacıbektaşoğlu said, "Today, on the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, we have come together to keep alive the memory of a night that left deep traces in our nation's memory, to commemorate our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country, with mercy and gratitude, and to express our gratitude to our heroic veterans.
