The interrogation of the truck driver, who was involved in a traffic accident that resulted in the death of two people in Zonguldak's Kozlu district and was detained by the gendarmerie teams after the incident, continues at the Zonguldak Courthouse, where he was referred after his procedures at the police station.
The accident took place in Ilıksu location of Kozlu district. According to the information received, a terrible traffic incident occurred as a result of the collision of the car with plate number 67 UA 738, driven by Yahya Ergin (81), with the truck with plate number 06 CAM 67, driven by Numan A. (22), while trying to go to the main road. The car, which was dragged about 10 meters due to the intensity of the collision, first hit the retaining wall and then overturned into the water channel on the roadside. Following the notice of the surrounding citizens, health, fire brigade and police teams were directed to the scene of the traffic incident. The couple Yahya and Aysel Ergin, who were stuck in the vehicle, were removed from their location as a result of the intense activity of the fire brigade and were referred to Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Hospital after their first aid. The unfortunate couple could not be saved despite all the interventions of the doctors. Truck driver Numan A., who was detained after the accident, was sent to the courthouse after his first statement at the gendarmerie.
