Flames broke out in the forest near Evkafteke District in Akhisar district around 13:00 yesterday. The flames grew in a short time due to the influence of the wind. Following the notice, 9 planes, 13 helicopters, 50 water trucks, 17 fire trucks, 22 water tankers, 7 dozers and 1 TOMA were dispatched to the region. In addition, the fire was intervened from the air and land with 5 work machines and 335 personnel. The flames, whose energy was reduced last night, were brought under control around 03:00. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
