July 15 commemoration programs to be held throughout Istanbul will continue with events to be held in different districts throughout the day. Martyrs will be commemorated in the programs, democracy watches will be held in the squares and various demonstrations will be held.
At the end of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day programs in Istanbul, sela will be recited from the mosques. Commemoration events throughout the city will end with democracy watches and prayers in the squares, followed by salutations at 00.13 at night. While it was included in the program in Sultanbeyli to recite the sela from the mosques in the district at night, it was announced that the events in Esenler Dörtyol Square will continue with prayers and salutes.
In the commemoration program in Bağcılar Square, prayers and sala will be recited after the recitation of the Holy Quran. During the events to be held in different parts of Istanbul, visits to martyrs' cemeteries and martyrs' graves will be held throughout the day, Mawlid programs will be organized, and commemoration programs in the squares will begin in the evening. The programs, which will continue with democracy watches, will be completed with salutes from the mosques at 00.13 at night.
Within the scope of the programs to be held in the city on Wednesday, July 15, a series of commemoration programs will be held in the squares, as well as martyrdom visits, Mawlid ceremonies, photo exhibitions, panels and walks.
In the events where democracy watches will be held, there will be Quran recitations, mehter performances and hymn recitals.
Within the scope of the Istanbul Governorship's program, Edirnekapı 15 July Martyrs' Memorial will be visited on 15 July, the day of the coup attempt. "15 July Democracy and National Unity Day March" will be held from Zincirlikuyu to the Memory 15 July Martyrs' Monument.
Under the coordination of the Governorship, a taxi procession will be held at Istanbul Airport and Atatürk Airport. "Silent Witness Installation and Experience Area" will be opened to visitors in Üsküdar and Taksim Square.
Mawlid programs will be held in 29 districts before the noon prayer.
"From Sea to Land 15 July" boat parade will be held in the courtyard of Ortaköy Mosque. "Provincial Gendarmerie Command July 15 Photography Exhibition" will be opened at Istanbul and Sabiha Gökçen airports.
A mapping show with the theme "15 July Everywhere" will be held at Galata Tower and Maiden's Tower, and an illuminated drone show will be held in the skies of the 15 July Martyrs' Bridge.
"15 July Democracy and National Unity Day" program will be held at Fatih Mosque and Anıtpark.
