Ardahan Revenue Office reported that taxpayers who have overdue debts to the tax offices are provided with the opportunity to pay in installments with low-rate deferred interest.
In the statement made by the Revenue Office, it was stated that with the regulation put into effect within the scope of Article 48 of the Law No. 6183 on the Collection Procedure of Public Receivables, taxpayers can pay their tax debts more easily.
It was stated in the statement that within the scope of the regulation, debts that meet certain conditions can be paid in installments for up to 72 months, and that all public receivables that are due as of June 5, 2026, but have not been paid until June 16, 2026 and collected by the tax offices affiliated with the Ministry will be included in the scope of the said debt.
It was stated that special consumption tax, provisional tax to be offset against the 2026 income or corporate tax, as well as tax loss penalties, delay interest, delay interest and related stamp taxes are outside the scope of installments.
In the statement, it was stated that debtors should apply by August 31 with a petition appropriate to their situation, and that the debts of taxpayers who are registered as active taxpayers and keep books on the basis of balance sheet or business account can be paid in 36, 48 or 72 equal installments depending on their financial situation, while the remaining debtors can structure their debts in 48 equal installments.
In the statement, it was also stated that in order for the debts in installments not to be included in the debt status document, at least 10 percent of the deferred debt amount, excluding deferment interest, must be paid.
