Mehmet Eşref Aras, who visited the exhibition of the vehicle, said that he was at his house in Maltepe on the evening of the treacherous attempt and said, "I don't remember how we went out to the street as soon as we heard about the incident. We went out as a family, may God never show those days again. I have goosebumps right now, my only wish is that God does not show such pain to this country again. May He keep our unity and solidarity with our faith. There are still traitors among us, we need to be very alert, we need unity. "We need it. May God never show it again, I don't even want to think about it when I think about it," he said.

Hakkı Özdemir said, "When I saw the tanks on the bridge that night, the people were not yet aware of the incident. I understood that these dishonorable people revolted. We immediately went to Kısıklı and kept watch there, just in case. When we heard that some people were shot, we went to Altunizade, there was a noise and we heard the sound of artillery shells passing over us. In the morning, we were relieved, they said the chief would come to Kısıklı. We returned to Kısıklı and he came, but we were worried; we were around the chief in case something would happen." "We were shaking," he said.
Another visitor, who did not want to give his name, said, "I hope this flag will not come down and the homeland will not be divided. We will always be united, these signatures are engraved in our minds, our children have been martyred and their blood will not remain on the ground."
Orhan Tomurcuk, who came from Germany for the July 15 events, said, "May God not harm our Turkey, the greatest Türkiye. This is a very scary thing. May God not show it to anyone." - ISTANBUL
