A lawsuit was filed against 5 defendants who were arrested regarding the armed fight in a bar in the central Seyhan district of Adana, in which 1 person died and 1 person was injured.
Ahmet D, D. Arslan, Gökhan D, Hüseyin Ç, who were arrested for the fight in a bar in a business building in Çınarlı District on December 11, 2025, in which Kenan Arslan (42), the partner and lead singer of the business, died. The investigation carried out by the prosecutor's office against Abdulhalik D. and Abdulhalik D., who was injured in the incident, has been completed.
In the indictment accepted by the Adana 7th High Criminal Court, it was stated that before the incident, Hüseyin Ç went to a different bar with his girlfriend and Abdulhalik D., where they had an argument with the victim Kenan Arslan.
After a while, Kenan Arslan moved to the bar where he was a partner, Hüseyin Ç. and Abdulhalik D came here, it was stated that Hüseyin Ç also called Ahmet D. and Gökhan D to the bar by phone.
It was stated that in the fight that broke out in the bar, Gökhan D killed Kenan Arslan with a gun, and the victim's son, D. Arslan, injured Abdulhalik D by shooting with a shotgun.
In the indictment, the defendants Ahmet D, Abdulhalik D, Gökhan D. and Hüseyin Ç, who acted in unity of thought and action, were sentenced to life imprisonment for the crime of "intentional murder", Gökhan D was also sentenced to 1 to 3 years for the crime of "purchasing, carrying or possessing unlicensed firearms and bullets", and the defendant D. Arslan was sentenced to 2 years for the crime of "qualified intentional wounding" for wounding Abdulhalik D with a shotgun. He was asked to be sentenced to imprisonment from 3 years to 6 years and 9 months.
The trial of the detained defendants, who did not accept the accusations in their statements in the indictment, will begin in the coming days.
