The bodies of Makbule Topal (30) and her 13-year-old son Mehmet Topal, who lost their lives when their car overturned into a drainage canal in Adana's central Yüreğir district, were buried in Kahramanmaraş.
The bodies of the mother and son, who were handed over to their relatives after the procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute, were brought to Karacasu Andırınlılar 1 Cemetery in Dulkadiroğlu district.

In the accident that occurred yesterday in the central Yüreğir district of Adana, when the car driven by Makbule Topal fell into the drainage canal, the driver and his son Mehmet Topal lost their lives, and Dursun Topal and his daughter were injured.
The injured, who were removed from the vehicle by the fire brigade, were taken to Adana City Training and Research Hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams, and the mother and son could not be saved despite the intervention made there.
It was learned that the father and his daughter, who were injured in the accident, are continuing their treatment in the hospital.
