Adıyaman Governor Abdullah Küçük and AK Party Adıyaman Deputy Mustafa Alkayış made a statement on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In his message, Governor Abdullah Küçük stated that the Turkish nation, which protects its state, flag, democracy and freedom under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, displayed a resistance that is rare in the world.
Stating that the nation made a great sacrifice for the sake of its independence and future on the night of July 15, Küçük said:
"I commemorate with mercy, gratitude and gratitude the 251 heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of independence and future, shielded their chests against the FETO treason network, and marched to martyrdom for the sake of their homeland and the star and crescent flag; I wish health, peace and good life to our heroic veterans, who achieved the honor of being a veteran with great courage, sacrifice and love for the country."
AK Party Adıyaman Deputy Mustafa Alkayış also stated that July 15 was a historical turning point in which the Turkish nation demonstrated its will against the coup plotters.
In his message, Alkayış said, "July 15 is the name of the night when our beloved nation stood against the traitors by building a wall of flesh in front of tanks and rifles, and did not surrender its homeland and future to the coup plotters." he said.
Emphasizing that the whole world has seen once again that the Republic of Turkey is an indivisible whole with its homeland, nation and state, Alkayış noted that the nation defended democracy and eliminated the coup attempt, and this victory took its place as one of the important turning points in Turkish history.
