Murat Beşikci, who was appointed as Akdeniz District Governor, started his duty.
According to the statement of Akdeniz Municipality, Beşikci, who was appointed as Akdeniz District Governor within the scope of the Presidential Decree on the Appointment of Civil Administration Chiefs, was welcomed by the chiefs of the institution.
In addition to being the District Governor, Beşikci will also serve as the Deputy Mayor of Akdeniz.
Beşikci, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they would work in cooperation with all institutions for the development of the district and the welfare of the Mediterranean people.
Stating that the activities will be carried out by considering citizen satisfaction and public interest, Beşikci said:
"During our term of office, we will act with an understanding that touches all segments of society and produces services without discrimination. May God bless us in this process. We will strive to do our best for the Mediterranean with both the district governorship and our municipality team, with the vision of a fair, transparent and quality service."
