'Memory and Souvenir: 15 July Photography Exhibition' was held in ANKARA on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day.
The exhibition, prepared in cooperation with the Directorate of Communications and the 15 July Association, was opened to visitors at Esenboğa Airport. The exhibition, organized with the theme 'Our Will, Our Victory', presented the resistance of the Turkish nation to protect its independence, democracy and national will on the night of July 15, 2016, with photographs. To the exhibition; Pursaklar District Governor Üzeyir Aziz Özeren, Directorate of Communications Digital Media Coordinator Aslan Değirmenci, 15 July Association Deputy Chairman Akın Bayram attended. The exhibition can be visited until July 21.

Directorate of Communications Digital Media Coordinator Aslan Değirmenci said, "The main purpose of this exhibition is to keep the memories alive and to show the resistance that took place that day to our local and foreign guests who came to our 6 airports. As you know, we all witnessed a live resistance that day. July 15 is a milestone as well as a resistance, a defense of the homeland, a defense of the country. It is a victory of those who did not drop the flag. We are honored to have witnessed this victory. What we witnessed "We are making a note in history. Our duty today is to protect that history, and I wholeheartedly salute everyone who protects that history," he said.
Deputy Chairman of the July 15 Association, Akın Bayram, said, "Today, we are not just opening a photography exhibition here. Today, we are together to keep the memory of a nation alive, to remember an epic again, and to entrust it to future generations. July 15 is an important date that gives meaning to the future and guides future generations. There are some dates that do not remain on the pages of the calendar. They are engraved in the conscience, memory and history of nations. That night, this dear nation showed the world once again that these lands are just It is protected not by borders, but by faith, courage, love of the country, by protecting our independence, future and state. That night, millions of people flocked to the squares with the call of our President, men, women, young people, elderly, patriots, soldiers, police and security officers, but they did not let the traitors pass. That night, some claimed this country with their flags in their hands, some with their prayers. "Because the issue was the homeland, because the issue was Turkey," he said.
