According to preliminary findings, 5 people were injured when the EGO bus went out of control in Ankara's Mamak district and crashed into a workplace on the side of the road.
The EGO bus with plate number 06 DV 5771, which was traveling on Saimekadın street in Mamak district, went out of control for an unknown reason.
The bus crashed first into 4 parked vehicles and then into a workplace.
According to initial findings, 5 people on the bus and at the workplace were injured in the accident. Damage occurred to 4 vehicles parked in front of the workplace.
Upon the notice of the surrounding people, fire brigade, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
After the first aid at the scene of the accident, the injured were taken to the hospital.
The teams started an operation to remove the bus that hit the workplace and the vehicles damaged in the accident.
In his statement to journalists, business owner Ali Yağlı stated that he witnessed the incident as he left his shop and got into his vehicle, adding:
"When I turned my head, I saw the bus entering the workplace. Everything happened suddenly. People ran in droves. I was very scared because the bus was carrying people under it, but thank God there were no dead, there were injured people. There were 5 injured people. People mobilized. The bus was fast. It is said that he had a heart attack, but of course we cannot say anything clearly at the moment. When we entered, the driver was in shock, he was not conscious."
