Test drives have started on the AYDIN Suburban (AYBAN) train line. State Railways and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality teams carried out the first test voyage in the morning for the line, which will start passenger transportation on Friday.
The test drive of the AYBAN train line, which will be put into service in Aydın, started from Incirliova Station at 06:00. While the teams were making the final checks of the system with the test run on the Incirliova-Köşk line, it was learned that the test drives would continue throughout the day. AYBAN line that will serve between İncirliova and Köşk; It will serve citizens by passing through the City Hospital, Aydın Train Station, Tekstil Park, ASTİM Organized Industrial Zone, İmamköy, Umurlu and Aydın Organized Industrial Zone stops.
AYBAN's departure times from Incirliova are planned as 06.00, 08.00, 09.46, 11.30, 13.16, 15.31, 17.22 and 18.59.
Trains departing from the Mansion will operate at 07.15, 08.49, 10.40, 12.20, 14.24, 16.34, 18.19 and 20.06.
It was reported that AYBAN, which will carry its first passengers on Friday, is expected to facilitate urban transportation and offer an important transportation alternative especially for students, public employees and citizens working in organized industrial zones.
