Ömer Çimşit, who was appointed as Ayvalık District Governor within the scope of the District Governors Decree published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, officially started his duty in the district.
With the Decree on Deputy Governors and District Governors published in the Official Gazette with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a change of duties took place in the Ayvalık district of Balıkesir. Ömer Çimşit, who served as Eğirdir District Governor of Isparta, was appointed as Ayvalık District Governor, instead of Hasan Yaman, who was appointed as Bergama District Governor.
District Governor Ömer Çimşit, who took office, visited Balıkesir Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu in his office on his first working day. On his second day in the district, he received representatives of the security units working in Ayvalık in his office and received information about the activities carried out.
Stating that they will work with a citizen-oriented management approach in coordination with all public institutions in Ayvalık, District Governor Çimşit said that security, peace and effective execution of public services are among their priorities.
Stating that they will work with all institutions to improve the quality of life of citizens, Çimşit said:
"We will work with all our strength to ensure security and order in our district with all our institutions, especially our police forces, so that our citizens can live in better conditions. We will strive to increase the peace and welfare of our citizens in Ayvalık. We will manage this beautiful district together by listening to the problems, demands and suggestions of our people living in our district and our guests. We will always strive to evaluate the laws and legal regulations in favor of our citizens. It is our most basic duty to facilitate the daily life of our citizens. It is the duty of any public institution in our district. "It is unacceptable for us to slow down or not fulfill it properly. Because if we have citizens, we exist.
