Bartın Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation against the suspects who were determined to have committed the crime of violating the "Law on the Regulation of Betting and Games of Chance in Football and Other Sports Competitions".
It was determined that there was a transaction volume of approximately 1 million 337 thousand liras in the accounts belonging to the suspects.
Within the scope of the investigation, 8 of the 9 suspects for whom an arrest warrant was issued were detained in the operation carried out simultaneously in Bartın, Afyonkarahisar and Kocaeli by the Bartın Provincial Police Department's Cyber Crimes Branch teams.
A lot of digital material was seized during the searches at the addresses.
