"Our Will, Our Victory" panel was held in Bingöl on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Bingöl University Prof. Dr. Bingöl Governor Cahit Çelik, who made the opening speech of the panel held at the Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, stated that the Turkish nation fought a great struggle for existence by protecting democracy and independence on the night of July 15, 2016.
Çelik stated that the treacherous coup attempt on July 15 should not be forgotten by future generations and said:
"We must always be strong against the treacherous terrorist groups that aim at the unity and solidarity of our country, by protecting our homeland, which is watered with the blood of our martyrs, with the same faith and determination. We will always continue our struggle for the homeland and nation with the same determination."
Later, it was moderated by Bingöl University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. In the panel held by Abdulhakim Koçin, Prof. Dr. Sahib Beroje, "Religious Exploitation and Its Consequences in the Case of the FETO Treacherous Coup Attempt" and Prof. Dr. Veysel Göger also made presentations titled "Coups from the Ottoman Empire to the Present and the 15 July Treacherous Coup Attempt".
The program was attended by Bingöl University Rector Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik, Provincial Police Chief Beyti Kalaycı, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Sabri Küyük, representatives of public institutions, academicians and citizens attended.
