Within the scope of the investigation carried out against ÇANKAYA Municipality, 24 suspects, including Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner, were sent to prison. 6 suspects were released on condition of judicial control.
Within the scope of the activity carried out by the teams of the Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Department under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; 30 suspects, including Çankaya Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner and some municipal bureaucrats, were detained on charges of 'establishing a criminal organization', 'being a member of a criminal organisation', 'taking bribes', 'giving bribes' and 'tender rigging'. After completing their procedures at the police station, 30 suspects, including Çankaya Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner, were sent to Ankara Courthouse.
All suspects who gave statements to the public prosecutor were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace on duty with a request for arrest. The judgeship decided to arrest 24 suspects, including Güner. 6 suspects were released on the condition of an international travel ban and judicial control.
