The procedures at the police station for 30 suspects, including Çankaya Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner, who were detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "criminal organization", "bribery" and "tender rigging", have been completed.
The suspects, who were referred to the Ankara Courthouse after health checks, gave statements to the prosecutor conducting the investigation. After the statements, all of the suspects were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace on duty with a request for arrest.
Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "criminal organisation", "bribery" and "tender rigging", a detention order was issued for 36 suspects, including Çankaya Mayor Hüseyin Can Güner.
While 29 suspects were detained in the operation, Güner, who returned to Ankara from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), was also detained at Esenboğa Airport. Thus, the number of detainees increased to 30.
