The lifeless body of a 71-year-old man who disappeared in Çorum's Mecitözü district was found. It was determined that the old man died by falling from a height.
The incident took place in Sırçalı village of Mecitözü district. According to the information obtained, AFAD, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the village upon the notice that 71-year-old Kemal Yılmaz was missing. A search operation was launched by teams around the village. As a result of the activity carried out by AFAD teams with a drone, it was determined that Kemal Yılmaz lost his life by falling from the cliffs. Following the investigations carried out by the teams, Yılmaz's body was removed from the area where he fell and taken to the morgue.
