Investments implemented in Bingöl with the support of the Agricultural and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) continue to contribute to production. While the modern fattening farm, supported under the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance Rural Development Fund (IPARD) Program, operates at full capacity, the facility contributes to the livestock sector in the region. In this context, production continues with a capacity of 250 head at the facility established in Bingöl. It was reported that the facility, realized with an investment of approximately 29 million liras, received 22 million liras in grant support.

Safiye Ergin Kaya, Veterinarian and Head of the TKDK Bingöl Liaison Office, stated that the institution's support is now implemented in all 81 provinces of Turkey, adding that a total of 20 projects have been supported in Bingöl to date, in areas such as livestock farming, rural tourism, processing of agricultural products, beekeeping, aquaculture, renewable energy, and crop production.

Kaya said, "With these projects, an investment of 231 million liras has been brought to Bingöl. Our institution has provided 152 million liras in grant support. The investment cost of the fattening farm we are currently in is 29 million liras, 22 million liras of which was covered by grants. We invite our producers to prepare projects. Come, create projects; let our institution and our state support them. Let's protect our land, our livestock, and our future together."

Farm manager Orhan Özateş stated that they established a modern facility meeting European standards with TKDK support, saying, "Our farm operates with a capacity of 250 head. We are maintaining full-capacity production. Our facility was established in accordance with European standards. We carry out a large part of our production with mechanized systems. The support provided by TKDK made a significant contribution to the realization of this investment." - BİNGÖL
