In SAMSUN, martyrs' cemeteries were visited on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day. At the ceremony, where the families of the martyrs and the protocol prayed, Elif Kılıç (8) kissed the photograph on the tombstone of her uncle, who was martyred in 2007 and whom she had never seen.
On the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, Governor Orhan Tavlı and Metropolitan Mayor Halit Doğan, as well as political party representatives, institution managers, military and civilian officials, veterans and relatives of the martyrs, visited the martyrs' cemeteries. First, the military and police martyrs' cemeteries in Kıranköy Cemetery were visited, and then they went to the martyrs' cemetery in Asri Cemetery. While Mawlid-i Sharif was read and prayed, protocol members left carnations on the graves of the martyrs.
