Eskişehir Governor Erdinç Yılmaz examined the preparations on site before the commemoration program to be held for the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day and invited all Eskişehir residents to the events.
Governor Yılmaz, in his statement to journalists after the inspections carried out in Governorship Square, stated that 10 years have passed since FETO's treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, and said, "Tomorrow, we will celebrate July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day in this square." he said.
Stating that July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day is the holiday of the whole nation, Yılmaz said, "We are preparing to celebrate this holiday enthusiastically in this square together with all our political parties, non-governmental organizations, public institutions and our very valuable fellow citizens of Eskişehir." he said.
Yılmaz invited citizens, non-governmental organizations and public institutions and organizations to participate in the program to be held tomorrow evening and said, "Tomorrow evening, this square will hopefully be filled with people. In this square, we will once again show that we protect this country with the loudest voice, to those who try to lay hands on our heavenly homeland, our glorious flag and our homeland." he said.
Emphasizing that the Turkish nation always acts in unity when it comes to the homeland, Yılmaz said, "Because the Turkish nation is such a nation that we all know what happened on July 15, there are children of the nation who lay down under the tanks without fear. As long as there are such children, as long as this spirit exists, with God's permission, our glorious flag will always wave in the skies, and traitors will not be able to enter our heavenly homeland." he said.
AK Party Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak and MHP Eskişehir Provincial Chairman Ayhan Sezer also attended the examination at the Governorship Square.
