AK Party Edirne Provincial Chairman Belgin İba stated that the coup attempt against democracy and national will on July 15, 2016 was eliminated by the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the determined stance of the nation.
In his message, İba stated that July 15 was a historical turning point in which the Turkish nation defended its independence and national will.
Recalling that on the night of July 15, 2016, an attempt was made to treacherously chain democracy and the free will of the nation, Iba said, "However, in those dark hours, the dark clouds that settled over our beloved nation were dispersed with an unshakable faith and love of homeland. July 15 is a declaration to the world that the Turkish nation is reborn from its ashes and that the national will can never be captured." he said.
Stating that the coup attempt was failed due to the wisdom of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the nation's defense of their state, İba noted that the Turkish nation will continue its determination to preserve the unity and solidarity from now on.
Emphasizing that the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans will not be forgotten, İba stated that he commemorates the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country with mercy and gratitude and expressed his gratitude to the veterans.
İba invited citizens to the program to be held tomorrow at 20.30 in front of the Atatürk Monument on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
