The wetlands in the Sarıkamış district of Kars, one of the highest settlements in Türkiye, host many wild birds in the summer.
In the district, which offers breeding and shelter opportunities to many wild animals, especially migratory birds, with its Scots pine forests and rich natural life, the water level in the ponds and reed areas increased after the rains.
The shepherds and wild birds of different species feeding in the ponds and reeds in the Hamamlı Düzü area created colorful images. Red hawks were also observed around the wetland.
Birds and natural life living in wetlands were recorded.
