Boran Çakmak (19), the driver of the motorcycle that collided with a car in Efeler district of AYDIN, died 10 days later in the hospital where he was treated.
The accident occurred at around 00.30 on July 5, at the intersection of Efekent Boulevard and 2209 Street in Efeler district. The car with plate number 09 ASV 776, driven by Mehmet Rüştü U., and the motorcycle with plate number 09 ATY 474, driven by Boran Çakmak, collided. Çakmak, who was thrown onto the road due to the impact, was seriously injured. Upon notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Çakmak was taken to Aydin City Hospital by ambulance. Mehmet Rüştü U. was referred to custody. An administrative fine of 50 thousand TL was imposed on the driver of the car, Mehmet Rüştü U., who was found to have 0.70 promil alcohol, and was released after his statement.
Boran Çakmak died today in the hospital where he was treated.
