In Erzurum, 30 children under state protection staged a theater show called "The Epic of July 15".
The program, organized by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services at the İbrahim Erkal Dadaş Culture and Art Center, started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem.
After the recitation of the Holy Quran, 30 children under protection and care reenacted some parts of the coup attempt that took place on July 15, 2016.
Episodes in which President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the public via television channels were staged in the theatre.
Family and Social Services Provincial Director Hasan Aykut told reporters that the children under protection have been preparing for the game for about 3.5 months.
Stating that the children have performed different theater plays before, Aykut said, "As part of the awareness, we are reliving the July 15 Epic with 30 children under state protection. In this way, we instill national unity and consciousness. We emphasize that we will always be together, that we will be united to each other, and the love of the homeland and nation." he said.
