The support contract for the "Feasibility Study for the Establishment of Acetylene Production and Filling Facility at the 53rd Maintenance Factory Directorate Campus" project, which was entitled to receive support within the scope of the 2026 Feasibility Support Program carried out by the Northeast Anatolia Development Agency (KUDAKA), was signed.

KUDAKA Secretary General Oktay Güven, 53rd Maintenance Factory Manager Serdar Baltacıoğlu and officials of the institutions responsible for the project attended the signing ceremony held at KUDAKA Erzincan Investment Support Office.

Within the scope of the project, the technical, economic, environmental, financial and administrative feasibility of the acetylene production and filling facility with a capacity of 50 kilograms per hour, planned to be established in the 53rd Maintenance Factory Directorate campus in Erzincan, will be evaluated with a comprehensive feasibility activity.

The feasibility report to be prepared aims to provide scientific and technical infrastructure for investment decision processes by analyzing the investment's production model, investment costs, business structure, capacity planning and sustainability elements in detail.

With the implementation of the investment, it is aimed to meet the acetylene gas used in the maintenance, repair and production activities of military units throughout Türkiye in a safe, uninterrupted and domestic way. The project is expected to reduce dependence on external suppliers, increase supply security and contribute to strengthening the production infrastructure of the defense industry.

The feasibility activity supported by KUDAKA is expected to pave the way for investments that will improve Erzincan's industrial infrastructure, increase strategic production capacity and contribute to regional development. - ERZİNCAN
