(TBMM) - MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated that the fight against FETO is not an issue of the past and said, "Just because the betrayal changes its method does not mean that the betrayal has ended. MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made statements regarding the agenda of his party's GNAT Group Meeting. Bahçeli said the following about the NATO Summit held in Ankara on 7-8 July:
"This beloved city, which was once the headquarters of the resistance, today hosts international platforms where the global security architecture is discussed, and has shown that it is a center that gives direction to the strategic discussions of the new era. For this reason, reading the NATO Summit held in Ankara as an ordinary diplomatic activity would be an incomplete, shallow and flawed evaluation. In Ankara, more than seventy years of alliance law was accounted for, and the long road from the ghost front lines of the Cold War years to today's multi-layered security crises was calculated. In Ankara, all the dilemmas of a wide security zone are the same, from the joint defense spirit of Article 5 to the future of military support to Ukraine, from new procurement moves exceeding 50 billion dollars to the search for joint production in the defense industry, from the deterrence vulnerabilities that Europe has postponed for years to the embargo and restriction contradictions between the allies, from Iran's nuclear program to the safety of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, from the new page that is wanted to be opened in Syria to our sensitivities in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Blue Homeland. addressed at the moment."
In Ankara, allyship does not only consist of posing under the bright lights of the cameras, insipid condemnation messages published in times of crisis, and listing polished sentences one after another on the podiums; It has been clearly understood that true alliance will be built on equity, sincerity, production, sharing and solidarity. Because states and alliances are not attracted by the temporary appeal of fancy statements shouted from the podiums; It stands with the perseverance shown by the loyalties tested in times of trouble, by the justice that is turned away when the burden falls on the shoulders, and by the will that works day and night. The ancient Turkish state heritage has engraved this truth in our minds as an absolute basis that time cannot erode.
