"Traces of Heritage", realized by Mirashane Art Design with young designers, brought together the fashion, society and business world at Benesta Center. The collection, inspired by the deep weaving tradition of Anatolia, received great appreciation from the audience with its pieces produced with printing, natural dye and handcrafted techniques.
Every piece carried to the podium throughout the fashion show was nourished by the memories and unexpressed emotions that Anatolian women kept in their chests. Young designers not only preserved this heritage but also reproduced it; A narrative language that was about to be forgotten came to life again with a contemporary aesthetic. Tülin Şahin, who was the lead model in the fashion show, stated that she was happy to carry the collection carefully prepared by young designers and that she attaches importance to taking part in such social responsibility projects that pave the way for young people.
Giving the opening speech of the event, Benesta General Manager Roksana Diker shared her feelings about the night and the project with the following words: "We do not just build buildings; we build living spaces where people come together and meet again in the natural flow of life. For Benesta, the greatest art is to create these areas where nature and people meet in harmony. This evening, not only clothes were exhibited in this fashion show; the past met the future, the cultural heritage came to life again with the imagination of our young people. The real power of a country is its young people who can dream. We, as Benesta, are "We will continue to support our youth and create living spaces where our youth can produce and express themselves."
Continuing its activities with a focus on sustainability and supporting young designers with this project, Benesta Center welcomes the night not only within the four walls; It added a spatial feel that matched the quiet and layered narrative of the collection. The event also paved the way for intersectoral dialogue between fashion and business representatives. Those who attended the night had the opportunity to closely experience the young designers' original production approach and their sensitivity to cultural heritage. The products of young designers can be seen at the Benesta Center Bahçelievler exhibition area in July.
