Bekir Engürülü, Member of the Board of Directors of Agricultural Insurance Pool Enterprise (TARSİM) and General Manager of Agricultural Insurance Pool Enterprise, made inspections in the agricultural areas affected by hail in Tekirdağ.
According to the statement made by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Engürülü visited the production areas damaged by hail together with Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Aksoy, TARSİM Deputy General Manager Tufan Özel, Tekirdağ Regional Manager Hamit Çönte and Deputy Regional Director Erdem Korkmaz.
The delegation evaluated the damage to the agricultural lands affected by hail during field inspections and received information about the damage assessment activities carried out by the technical teams.
The officials also met with the producers and gave information about the damage assessment process and the activities carried out and expressed their wishes for a speedy recovery.
It was reported that the teams continued their damage assessment activities in the areas affected by hail.
Approximately 35 thousand decares of agricultural land in the Ferhadanlı, Hacıköy, Ahmedikli and Güveçli neighborhoods were damaged by the hail that hit the city 2 days ago.
