The traditional Shalwar Night, held in Kırkkepenekli District of Tekirdağ's Muratlı district, witnessed colorful scenes.
The program, in which the spirit of unity, solidarity and solidarity came to the fore, started with the reading of the National Anthem, following a moment of silence in memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades in arms and our beloved martyrs. After the opening, the event continued with cultural shows and entertainment program.
Kırkkepenekli District Headman Ufuk Öztok drew attention to the importance of unity and solidarity in his speech.
Bilge Altınsoy, one of the residents of the neighborhood who took part in the organization of the event, stated that Shalwar Night is traditionally held every year and that their aim is to strengthen solidarity in the neighborhood, keep cultural values alive and pass this heritage on to future generations.
At the traditional Shalwar Night, which took place with great participation, the entertainment started with the accompaniment of drums and pipes, and women danced in their colorful shalwars. - TEKİRDAĞ
