Due to the increasing hot weather in the city, especially elderly citizens spent time in the shade of trees in the parks and green areas in the district center. Citizens sitting in shaded areas for hours tried to cool off with the wind blowing from time to time. In the city, where the temperature increased due to high humidity, some citizens rested on the benches, while others tried to protect themselves from the effects of the hot weather by chatting in the shadows of trees. It was observed that the density of people on the streets and avenues decreased at noon.
It is recommended that elderly people, children and citizens with chronic diseases do not go out unless necessary, especially between 11.00 and 16.00, which are the hottest hours of the day. - TEKİRDAĞ
