Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and members of the Board of Directors met with Fatih Karahan, President of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
According to the statement made by the union, the meeting took place at TOBB Twin Towers.
Hisarcıklıoğlu, whose evaluation was included in the statement, stated that they met with Karahan after the meeting with the general managers of public banks.
Stating that access to finance is the most important agenda of the business world, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
"Financing is the oxygen of the real sector. After the meeting with the general managers of our public banks, we met with the President of the CBRT, Fatih Karahan. We exchanged views. We conveyed the effects of the growth limits in commercial loans, especially access to finance, the problems and suggestions of the real sector. Our companies are Türkiye's national wealth. We must protect our country's production, investment, employment and export capacity."
