Kadir Sağlam, President of the Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF), held a commemoration event with the Turkish flag in the sunken tank off the coast of Antalya on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
According to the statement made by TSSF, President Kadir Sağlam dived into the sunken tank off the coast of Kaş district with the Turkish flag to commemorate the martyrs of July 15.
Kadir Sağlam, whose views were included in the statement, stated that they held this event to commemorate the martyrs and veterans and said, "Our nation, which shielded its chest from the tanks and bullets of traitors, buried every weapon used against the national will in the darkest depths of history. We will never allow any attack on our country in the air, on the land and in the blue homeland." he said.
Noting that July 15 showed the Turkish nation's commitment to democracy to the whole world, Kadir Sağlam stated that, as a federation, they continue to train athletes with the love of the homeland and flag.
Sağlam noted that they commemorated the July 15 martyrs with mercy and gratitude and expressed their gratitude to the veterans.
