HARBIN, July 14 (Xinhua) -- China Railways Harbin Group Limited is advancing the development of digital port systems and railway express services, while constantly improving the connections between port infrastructure facilities. These efforts of the company have increased the efficiency and capacity in the eastern corridor of the China-Europe freight train service.
The number of trips carried out on the eastern corridor of the China-Europe Railway Express this year exceeded 40,000 as of June.
The eastern corridor of China-Europe freight train service consists of three major railway ports: Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang. The corridor, which currently connects more than 60 cities of China with 14 European countries through 27 regular routes, constitutes a concrete example of efforts to develop high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
