15 July Association President İsmail Hakkı Turunç said, "Why would a person leave all his loved ones behind and lie under a tank? Normally, a person would not even lie under a bicycle. Even if there is no fear of death, 'I will get dirty.' He doesn't sleep like that. Why do you lie under the tank? "You will only win if you lie under that tank with an understanding of death." he said.
Kırklareli Governorship Provincial Health Directorate Dr. Speaking at the "The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours" conference held at the Fuat Umay Conference Hall, Turunç pointed out the courage and patriotism shown by the Turkish nation in the July 15 coup attempt.
Turunç said that on July 15, 40 years of preparation were eliminated with the wisdom of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the courage of the nation.
Stating that a person's stance is very important, Turunç said:
"Why would a person leave all his loved ones behind and lie under a tank? Normally, a person would not even lie under a bicycle. Even if there is no fear of death, 'I will get dirty.' He doesn't sleep like that. Why do you lie under the tank? You will only win if you lie under that tank with an understanding of death. Those deceased brothers of ours did not die either, they left victorious according to our culture and belief. Those who ran to ATMs or thought they had hidden themselves in a safe place, those who had no dreams for the future of the state and the country lost that day. "Those who lay under the tank won, those who were veterans won."
Kırklareli Governor Uğur Turan also noted that July 15 was a historical turning point in which the nation showed the whole world its determination to protect democracy, national will and independence.
In the program, Deputy Governor Hasan Tanrıseven, Kırklareli University faculty members Assoc. Dr. Neriman Hocaoğlu and Assoc. Dr. Nergiz Aydoğdu also made a speech.
